Trash

New EDCO trash, recycling and organics carts will be delivered to all single-family residents between June 24 and June 30, 2022, and your existing carts will be removed on the same day. An informational tag will be attached to your new carts that will offer important information such as set-out guidelines and a service overview. Your new EDCO carts will be the same size as your current carts. Please place all current carts/cans out for removal on your normal service day.

There will be no change to your regular weekly service and scheduled collection day, though the time of day your collection takes place may change. Your current provider will continue to provide weekly collection services through June 30, 2022.

• EDCO provides each single-family residential customer with a GRAY automated cart for weekly trash collection.
• Trash and recycling containers should be set out for collection prior to 6 a.m. on your service day
• Please set out trash containers in your designated collection area on the street with the wheels against the curb or the edge of the roadway. Arrows on the lid should point toward the street.
• Automated carts should be placed at least 2 feet away from each other and obstructions such as parked cars, trees, telephone poles, and mailboxes.
• Please be careful not to place carts in areas of traffic, such as bike lanes, in order to avoid blocking paths of travel.

Residents have the option of requesting 35-, 64-, or 96-gallon trash, recycle and organics carts. Please note, that requesting a different trash cart size change will affect your monthly rate.
